Hi All,
Thought I would share this before I head off to San Francisco.
Last May here in Maine our Governor signed a bill that would allow gay & lesbian couples to marry. It was a great victory, but of course stand for marriage and others wanted to repeal this. Unfortunately, they gathered enough signatures to bring this to a ballot. So now here in Maine, we are facing this issue again. It appears like it is going to be a close vote. I hope to return from my trip to S.F. to find that the law is not repealed and that gay & lesbian couples can get married.
On Friday Oct 23rd the "NO on One" campaign asked John Post and I to do a video in ASL; Here is the link http://www.protectmaineequality.org/blog.cfm?ID=50
I sure hope Maine becomes a state where there is equality for all.
