Mr.Leather Toronto

Hi all
On Wednesday November 25th after work I drove to Albany New York to meet up with Boy Taz International Deaf Leatherboy. We spent the night in Albany. On Thursday November 26th we drove to Toronto to attend MLT 2010. It was a long drive and it was nice to finally spend some time with Boy Taz and to make our first appearance together at an event.
When we arrived at the hotel, we got settled in and then went down to register for the event. We attended a dinner that night (we were thrilled to have Turkey) and seats were reserved for us with an interpreter. (Thanks Brandon) It was great to see IML 2009 Jeffrey Payne again. It was also great to see him become part of Mama's family. Congratulations Jeffrey.
After the dinner we headed to the Black Eagle and it was great to see other titleholders that I have met so far this year. and to meet new people as well.
On Friday, we got together for Brunch at Churchmouse and Furkin for brunch. We really enjoyed spending time with Peter(MLT2009) Tim (Mr. Boston leather2009) Brendon (MLO2009), (It took me a while to finally recognize him without his Mohawk.He is a cool guy.)Jeffrey (IML2009) Alex (American Leatherman2009) and his partner Loren. and several others. It was a great group and the food was Awesome.
On Friday night we attended a reception at Sailor and of course again it was great to see titleholders both current and past. It was great to see International Leather Sir Tony and International Leather Boy Brad. It was great to see International MS. Bootblack 2009, Pony. some people were enjoying getting their boots blacked and contestants were introduced. It was fun night. It was also great to see Mc G International Mr. Bootblack 2009. After this we went to the Barn and it was fun. However, several of us decided to leave early and for me it was a night of turning in early. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting people.
On Saturday I attended brunch and sat with the boot blacking judges. What a great group of people.. after that I of course did a little shopping. Toronto is a great place and I hope to go back again soon. On Saturday night we all went to Phoenix for the contest. There were 7 MLT 2010 contestants, and 2 2010BBT contestants. All of the contestants were great and did a great job.
Congratulations to David on winning the title of MLT 2010, Joseph for winning first runner up and Devin for winning Mr. Leather Fellowship Toronto 2010, Congratulations to Bootboy Digger for winning Bootblack Toronto 2010. He did my first bootblacking and did a great job.
On Sunday we attending the Victory Brunch. It was a fun event and we really enjoyed attending MLT. It was a very long drive but well worth it. Thanks to everyone who hosted the event, or was involved with the event. Special thanks to Peter Dillion, Brandon,Mcg and the organizers of the event. I guiess I am using the word fun a lot but hey I had tons of fun... :)
