Glenda who produces International Ms. Leather joined up with us later in the afternoon and it was great to spend some time with her as well.

After interviews I had time do my boots. He did a great job. The contest started and it was fun. The one thing I forgot was my camera so I don't have any pictures to share at this time.
Congrats to David D who is now Mr. Boston Leather 2011
I had a great time with the judges and meeting other people and of course seeing the Boston leather family. It was also great to see Mark and Dave from Harbor Masters of Maine at the Ramrod.

On July 22nd Court and I headed to Las Vegas to Alexis Park Resort and we got settled in our room. We then met up with Boy Taz and several others. We were happy with our room and accommodations. Upon arrival we met up with Tim Starkey International Mr.Boot Black 2010. It was great to see him and chat with him for a bit. we then ate and unpacked then headed to the pool. We spent a lot of time at the pool during this event. It was fun to see so many of the IDL family as well as other deaf. It was also great to see everyone again. We had a great team of judges. We had an auction at the meet and greet and I was thrilled to see Stan and Andy from Harbor Masters of Maine. It was great to see Jeffrey Payne IML2009, Tyler McCormick IML2010, Tim Starkey IMBB 2010. several IDl family such as Philip, Sir Y, Bob Donaldson,Boy Alex, Patrick, Crystal, and so many names to mention. After the meet and greet we headed back to the resort and then went to the pool again. It was a fun night.
On Saturday morning interview was held. We only had one contestant Val Sherill for International Ms Deaf Leather 2010. She was great through the interview and did a great job. It was actually fun. then Saturday afternoon we went to the pool again. Saturday night was cocktails, then dinner then contest. Val's opening was fun and unique. She did well throughout the whole contest and deserved to win as she did. She is our new International Ms Deaf Leather 2010. Prior to Val winning boy Taz and I gave our step aside speeches and showed a great step down video that was made for us by Randy Carmenaty. Thanks Randy.
As there were not contestants for International Mr. Deaf Leather or International Deaf Leatherboy, I was asked if I would take on another year. It was a hard decision to make but after careful thought, I decided I would continue as IMRDL 2010. Boy Taz has completed 2 years and was ready for his step aside. I lost a boy but gained a sash wife. I am proud to have Val Sherill as my sash wife and look forward to a great year with her. Congrats Val..

Gall Bladder YIkes and Maine Pride
I had told my partner Court that I wanted to return to work shortly after I came home. He suggested that I not rush back to work as did my doctor. I finally understood why when I tried to go food shopping and got dizzy. I am glad that is over.
On June 19 was Southern Maine Gay Pride. I have not been to Gay Pride parade for a few years. I was happy to help carry the Harbor Masters Flag. It was great to see everyone for Southern Maine Gay Pride.
International Mr. Leather 2010
On Friday we attended the Leather Market which was great and there were lot of people. Court and I went out to lunch. That night it was an honor to speak about Jeffrey during his step aside speech. IT was Awesome that he had about 5 or 6 people speak and had his IML 31 class come up to the stage. After this Court and I headed to Touche to make an appearance to promote IDL 2010. I ended up speaking with my own voice as they were not able to get interpreter for that night. Thanks to David Boyer from TOUCHE for supporting IDL.
On Saturday we went to the leather market again and I had some downtime. IT was great to see several of the contestants and others.
Sunday was the contest and the entertainment was AWESOME. All the contestants did a great job. Congrats to Tyler McCormick who won as IML 2010 and Tim Starkey who won as International Mr. Boot Black 2010. They are great. History was made when Tyler won . Congrats to Lance Holman Mr. SF Leather 2010 as first runner up and Jack Duke, Mr. Texas Leather 2010 as 2nd runner up.

Jeffrey Payne's last stop before his step down
On Saturday we went to Portland Headlight and Two Lights. We had lunch at Two Lights. It was a beautiful day. Later that evening we headed to Mark and Dave's to have dinner before heading to Blackstone's. It was great to have dinner with Mark , Dave. Stan, Andy, Steve, Mike. Court and a few others. After that we headed to Blackstone's and met up with people. Thanks To Chris and Andy and those who helped sell 50/50 tickets. Thanks to Mark and Dave for hosting a great dinner and Thanks to Blackstone's for being the place for the Fundraiser to happen.
On Sunday, we headed to Blackstone's and the Harbor Masters had most everything set up. There was Bingo, and the Maine Gay Men's Chorus came and sang a few songs. There was also comedy by Kris Francis. There was also a Delicious spaghetti dinner that was made by Mark Holt and Stan Fortuna from the Harbor Masters. Mark, Dave, Stan, Andy Sue and Bill. You all rock and made this event a huge success. I could not have done it without you. Thanks for everything. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the events and also thanks to Justin Gifford for his help as well. You rock Justin. Of course thanks to Ralph and Butch and Blackstone's.
On Monday I had to work but luckily Court was off and could spend time with Jeffrey. One night we had grilled filet Mignon at home. One night we went out to eat and Jeffrey and Court enjoyed their Lobster. I don't eat sea food, people often say you are from Maine and you don't eat sea food. I am from northern Maine, Aroostook county, so I love my potatoes.
On Tuesday Court and I rode up to Rumford Maine where Jeffrey was born and of course Bear Payne went with us. It was unusually humid that day. We then headed back home As Jeffrey was flying to Chicago the next day. It was an honor to have Jeffrey come to Maine and once again thanks to everyone .. Leather Hugz Terry

Boy Taz having fun
Friday April 20th Boy Taz and Ed arrived here in Maine for a fundraiser that we did for "Spring for Vegas" The first night he was here we had dinner at home and then went to my home bar Blackstone's for a few drinks and to relax.
On Saturday morning we went to Portland Headlight and also for a walk around Mackworth Island, Baxter School for the Deaf. I made pizza and unfortunately for me it was not as good as it normally is. Boy Taz and Ed made jello shots to sell at the bar that night. After dinner we headed to Blackstone's and met up with people. Blackstone's had it as deaf gay awareness night. Thank you so much to Blackstone's for making this possible. We sold jello shots and fifty fifty raffle tickets. I had a great time during this weekend and it was nice to spend some time with Boy Taz and Ed. Before they left on Sunday we had breakfast at Hot Suppah.
CLAW 2010
After that I drove to Cleveland by myself. What a long ride. I sure wish I had company on that trip. I arrived in Cleveland on Thursday evening and met up with roommate Roberto who I shared a room with. (Thanks Roberto)
The first night I spent relaxing and meeting people that I have met through the year. The drive was so worth it to attend CLAW 2010. I cannot remember which day I did what but here is a summary of what I did.
It was fun to spend some time with Jeffrey and Boy Adam. It was great to see people that I have met through the year and also to meet new people as well. I met up with Tom Smith and Paul t who are deaf and spent time with them.
There were buses that went to the bars for various events and it was nice to not have to drive to the bars. This event was very different from all the other events It was relaxing and there were no contests. I have enjoyed every event that I have attended this year. They were all fun .
I was at Claw from Thursday night until Sunday morning. I did not want to start driving home on Sunday morning as there were still some fun events going on that I had to miss.
I sure hope to be able to attend CLAW again. I can now say I am no longer a CLAW Virgin.
Thanks to everyone at CLAW who made it a great event .

Ct Cruisers at Tommy's March 6th and visiting friend
We were surprised that JD opened his eyes and seemed to know we were there. He could not talk but the nurse asked me to ask him if he was comfortable. So I did and asked him to either blink his eye or nod his head. He shook his head to say no that he was not comfortable. So the nurse gave him something to help him sleep. It seems like the infection is gone and they are hoping he may wake up today or tomorrow. It seems things are improving for JD.
On Saturday night we decided to attend Ct Cruisers event. Thanks Robert Vitale for inviting me. It was great to see everyone and it was first time I saw fire play. I had a great time and hope to attend again. It was also great to meet LeatherDaddy Tim.
Sorry I was not able to take any pictures of the event. Hugz Terry
BLADeaf 2010 contest
Me and Boy Taz with Ms. Deaf Baltimore Leather 2010,Valerie, Miss Glade 2010, Ms Jasmine and Mr. Deaf Baltimore Leather Abe. Congrats to the winners.
Me and Boy Taz, Boy Alex and Boy B ..
On Thursday February 11, I drove from Maine to pick up Justin, Mr. Boston Leather 2010. We then drove to Connecticut to spend a few hours with my aunt and to wait for rush hour to pass. We left Conn around midnight and drove to Baltimore. I did not see any snow until we got to NYC then of course once we got to Baltimore there was more snow than here in Maine. I really do think Mother Nature is confused this year as we have not had much snow here in Maine this winter.
After Dropping Justin off at the hotel in Baltimore I continued to drive to Washington DC to stay with Sir Y. Of course once I got there I chatted for a bit then took a nap. Later that evening International Deaf leather boy , Boy Taz joined us.
We went out to eat in Baltimore at a great restaurant. I can't remember the exact name of it but it was something Tavern. IT was great food and service. After this we went to the meet and greet at the Baltimore Eagle. Mr. Boston Leather, Myself. Karen,(Mr. Deaf Baltimore leather2009, Larry and John were judges. It was fun to meet and greet people. It was also great to see Sir Any Liu and others as well.
On Saturday we all went to Grand Central( I hope this is the Right name) Where the contest was being held. It was great to see Brandon Riley and Sir Andy Liu again. Sir Andy Liu gave a great presentation. Thanks Sir Andy Iiu.
It was also great to see Boy Alex and Boy B and spend some time with them. It was great to have boy Alex work on my boots and also my sash.. Thanks Boy Alex.
Boy taz had forgot his sash so I called him to the stage and stated "You are in trouble" and the audience had fun punishing or should I say disciplining him. He got whipped and spanked by me. It was fun. On Sunday afternoon I decided to drive home as they were saying there would be a big storm. However, I think the storm never came. It was a long drive but always great to see everyone. Hugz
