I am looking forward to spending time with Mr. World Leather 2005 and hopefully with several other wonderful people I have met. I am also thrilled that this time my partner, Court is able to join me.
After that I will be attending our local Harbor Masters of Maine 27th annual leather run on November 6-8th. I am looking forward to that as well. You can check out their web in my link session harbormastersofmaine.

Mr./Ms. NJ leather 2010
On October 15th after work, my friend Chris and I decided to drive to Connecticut to spend night on way to New Jersey. On the way to Conn. I thought I was hallucinating but it turns out it really did snow that night. Yikes, it is a little too early for that. We arrived in Conn to stay with my aunt around 11p.m.
We left at 5a.m. on Friday morning to head to Asbury Park New Jersey for the 2010 Mr./Ms New Jersey Leather contest. We were thrilled when we arrived at our hotel. We loved the view of the ocean from our room and the people at the hotel were very nice and very helpful.
On the first night it was great to meet lots of people during the meet and greet. It was great to see John, Mr. NJ leather 2009 again.
It was great to meet the contestants, judges, former and current titleholders and lots of great people. It was also great to see James, Mr. Conn Leather 2010 again as well. It was great to see Rick and Peter Mr. NYC Eagle 2007 and 2008. I was also thrilled to meet Teddy IMRDL2004. It was also great to meet Susan, an ASL interpreter who also interprets Mr. NYC Eagle Leather contest as well.
Congratulations to Damian, 2010 Mr. New Jersey Leather and to Morganne Ms. New Jersey Leather 2010. We also attended a victory brunch on Sunday morning which was also awesome and it was nice to take some time to chat with people. I look forward to seeing everyone again ..

More on Folsom Street Fair
Me, Lamalani, and Jeffrey
Alex's partner, Alex, Me. American Leather boy
After the brunch American Leatherman 2009, Alex and his partner let me join them and their friends to get to the Folsom Street Fair. Thanks Alex, I really appreciate you and your partner offering ride and letting me hang out with you.
Then all the title holders were asked to be on stage. It was fun and It was nice to meet up with International Ms. Leather 2009, Lamalani and International Mr. Leather 2009, Jeffrey Payne.
We met briefly but it was such a busy afternoon that we all ended up going in different directions. It was such a crowd and it was very hot...
After this I ended up with some deaf people and enjoyed spending time with them and also with some that I had met on Friday night. It was great chatting with them. Then I took a walk and ended up with a group of interpreters and had some fun chatting with them. After that I returned to where some deaf were hanging out near some good music. Chatted for a bit then decided to join Louis (who I met in Chicago during the IDL contestest) and his friends to go to Eagle. I thought that I had missed a chance to meet Jeffrey and chat with him for a bit. As I was getting a drink, someone tapped me on the shoulder and I was glad to finally meet Jeffrey and spend some time with him. Thanks Jeffrey, I really had fun spending time with you.
The next event I plan to attend is Mr./Ms. New Jersey Leather on the weekend of October 16th. I am looking forward to this event.
When I got home from San Francisco, it was a busy week as I was very involved in being a chairperson for our Maine Deaf Culture Festival. It was a fun event.

Folsom week and Folsom Fair
On September 24th I took a flight to San Francisco. I had planned to have an hour layover in NYC before catching my connecting flight. I had only 10 minutes to spare due to being late as there was a problem for some passengers traveling to Sarasota Florida. Was relieved to make the flight.
Daniel IMRDL1996 greeted me at the airport and picked me up to stay with him Dave and Ken. They made me feel at home during my stay there. Thanks Daniel, Dave and Ken. I really appreciate how you made me feel at home.
Of course was very hungry when I arrived so we ate at Slider's Diner which was actually very good. That night we went to a BBQ which was awesome and food was great.
Friday morning I spent time on Castro Street and visited several stores and shops. Friday afternoon Daniel and I went to Mr. S leather and of course I bought some leather. There were lots of people and it was very busy at the time we were there. The pants I wanted needed to be adjusted. On Friday Daniel had set it up so that I could meet some local deaf people from San Francisco and nearby for coffee. The picture above is of the wonderful deaf men who welcomed me to San Francisco. It was great to meet such great people. I sure hope to meet them again. They made me feel very welcome. After that it was off to a birthday party for an interpreter. It was fun to meet them and I had a great time. After that it was off to the Power House to appear on stage with other tittle holders. Brandon Clark. Mr. SF Leather 2009 introduced us. What a night.
As busy as it was Skeeter and her staff had my pants ready for me to pick up on Saturday night. Thanks Skeeter and Chris at Mr. S. After picking up my pants at Mr. S on Saturday night I met Daniel, Dave, Ken and their friends at a Mexican restaurant, I don't remember the name of it but the food was awesome.
I forgot to mention on Friday Morning I decided to try sort of a mohawk haircut as I wanted to do something daring while in San Francisco.
